This is how we operate for not only albacore tuna but for other fisheries as well. Our boats go and catch tuna fish. When a boat starts to head in loaded with tuna (usually takes 2 or three days to get back to port) we contact our customers who have placed tuna orders and give them the market rate for that week. The customer then wire transfers ALL of the funds in USD to our company bank account for the order they placed. Once the funds are confirmed received and only then, we will release the product to you.
We prefer that you have a refrigerated truck available with the refer unit preset at -20 degrees Fahrenheit. We have a laser thermometer on site and will not load a truck truck trailer that has a temperature higher than 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Your driver must have 19 pallets for exchange or we will not load your tuna. We sell pallets for $10.00 USD each if needed.
